Individual Counseling
Every person has a unique life story. My desire is to help clients feel known, heard, and understood as they walk toward healing.
Many factors impact how we cope and relate. Past hurts, physical health, biological factors, relationships, living situations, and much more affect our well-being. Helping clients understand the roots of their struggles and how this impacts lasting change along with how they cope effects the journey. I offer an individualized and personal approach for each client. Types of therapy include:
- Emotion Focused Therapy
- Person-Centered Therapy
- Psychodynamic
- Polyvagal Theory
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
I do not just ‘sit there and nod.’ Clients will experience an interactive approach and one that holds them accountable.
I view therapy as a collaborative process and work with clients to provide them with evidence-based tools and skills necessary to make changes to live more fulfilling and meaningful lives. There will often be assigned homework or exercises to work on between sessions to further your growth and improvement.
