National Board Certified and Licensed Professional Counselor, Mental Health Service Provider, JoAnn is passionate about helping others. She received her Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2004 from The University of Dayton and Bachelor's of Science from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. JoAnn studied abroad in Luxembourg, France, Belgium, Austria, Germany and Switzerland upon completing her degrees.

Mrs. Breiner conducted group and individual therapy in a detention center in Cincinnati, Ohio and worked with victims of sexual abuse. Later in her career, she counseled in a community mental health center in Miami, Florida. Breiner has developed treatment plans for individuals, couples, and groups. Mrs. Breiner partnered with the Department of Children and Families in Miami, Florida to conduct Level of Care Assessments. She has completed CANS training, Trauma Focused-CBT training, training with the Gottman Institute and training in PolyVagal Theory.

Along with working in the community mental health field, Mrs. Breiner served as director of college counseling in Miami, FL and spent two years as a Crisis Counselor in the high school setting.
